God has placed it on our heart at Kingdom Revolution through Apostle A. G. Green to focus on the spiritual, intellecutal, and psychological plight of inmates in our country.

  • The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) defines literacy as the "ability to identify, understand, interpret, create, communicate and compute, using printed and written materials associated with varying contexts. Literacy involves a continuum of learning in enabling individuals to achieve their goals, to develop their knowledge and potential, and to participate fully in their community and wider society"

  • Over 60% of all inmates in the USA are functionally illiterate.

  • 70% of prisoners in the USA cannot read above a 4th grade level.

  • Shocking Records from penal institutions collaborate that inmates have a 16% chance of recidivism if they receive literacy help, as opposed to a 70% recidivism rate for those who receive no help

  • On average per year it costs $30,000 to house an inmate, whereas it only costs on average $10,000 per year to get a college education.

  • As a direct result of the “war on drugs” and the mandatory minimum sentencing laws for first offenders as well as the “3 strikes you’re out” laws for non-violent crimes, such as drugs- the prison rate has nearly quintupled since l98o at under 500,000 – to over 2.2 Million by the end of 2o13.

We encountered a host of incredible facts in researching this initiative but the one that disturbed us the most was that books on Wicca are among the most requested among prisoners nationwide. Yes, thousands of prisoners nationwide want more information about witchcraft. We must combat the Devil's growing influence in our prisons and help people walk down the right path in life. In prison books provide a pure learning resource to a population that has plenty of potential idle-time on their hands. We must put life-changing books into the hands of prisoners and contribute to the psycho-spiritual advancement of an abandoned people.

Our new assignment is to provide prisoners nationwide with good books beginning with Apostle A. G. Green's. We call this new initiative R.E.A.D for Inmates, which stands for Reveal - Educate - Applicate - Demonstrate. In other words when truth is revealed it enlightens and educates, and when we applicate/apply it, we will demonstrate it in behavior. When we think right and apply what we've learned it will translate into the right behavior.

We've partnered with a few organizations that are going to place books that we donate into prisons across at least six states. The gospel of Jesus Christ and books that empower people spiritually and psychologically from a theocentric perspective are imperative. Our first goal is to donate 200 books. We know people are preparing for Christmas and New Year's which is great but we want to give a gift to inmates that will keep giving.

Partner with us for a simple gift of $20 which will cover the cost of books, shipping, and other expenses. Apostle A. G. Green is calling it the $20 for 200 Campaign. A simple twenty dollar bill will bring revelation, education, application, and demonstration in some person's life. Of course donations of all sizes are accepted. Please give as God leads but $20 or more will help advance our cause more quickly. We also welcome donations from your church. This initiative is an awesome investment in missions during the holidays.

There are two ways to give:

Online -  When giving online type in the memo/message section "R.E.A.D", this will enable us to apply your donation toward the $20 for 200 campaign.

Mail - Mail your donation to: P. O. Box 511 - Smyrna, GA 30081. Make the check out to Greater Rhema and please put "R.E.A.D." in the memo section of your check or money order.

For those who have a prison ministry if you would like to give some books away at the prison you serve please let us know. We'll be glad to allocate some of the donated books for you free of charge. All you'll pay for is the shipping and handling costs to receive the books from us and that's it.

Jesus/Yeshua said in Matthew 25:34-45 "34. Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: 35.  For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: 36.  Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me. 37. Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink? 38. When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee? 39. Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee? 40. And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me. 41. Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels: 42. For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink: 43. I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not. 44. Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee? 45. Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me."

Your gift will assure that God's favor follows you from now into eternity. And you'll be ensuring that an inmate is empowered with powerful information that will change their lives. Thanks for your support.  GIVE NOW!
